X-Ray Inspection

For real time X-Ray inspection and validation of BGA soldering, AWS have an X-Tek bench top X-ray system. The system has a small footprint and a versatile 5-axis manipulator suitable for small mechanical assemblies or PCB's. The 60W source operates at up to 160kV, giving good penetrating power of heavier samples.

  • 2kg Capacity 3 axis fully programmable manipulator, 0.5kg capacity Tilt and Rotate

  • System Magnification up to: 200x
  • Feature recognition: down to 1 micron
