AWS has a wide range of flexible placement equipment capable of placing components from 0201 up to 52mm sq. to within an accuracy of ±60µm.

The placement systems available can be rapidly reconfigured to manufacture PCB assemblies from 50mm square up to 450 x 400mm* and from the simple to high complexity double sided assemblies.

* Note that some items of equipment may be able to cater for larger panel sizes but that 460 x 440mm is the maximum printable area; please advise our sales team of your detailed requirements

Speed & Flexibility

Using high-speed, precision pick & place machines, our surface mount technology (SMT) lines are capable of installing surface mounted devices (SMDs) from size 0201 to very fine pitch ICs (0.4 mm) as well as BGAs and LCC components

We solder single- and double-sided SMD assemblies using hot-air and IR reflow technologies and are equipped to handle both leaded and lead-free production.
