Accurate and reliable screen printing is an essential part of a Surface Mount Assembly line. In fact the importance of printing is often overlooked by newcomers to the industry. Poor definition or inaccurate alignment of the print can lead to numerous potential defects. To avoid these problems, at AWS, we have standardised on the Tecan, 'tecfoil' range of stainless steel stencils and these are used together with some of the most respected printers available to the industry.
